Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic SEN school team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse educational needs, helping them to learn, develop, and achieve their full potential.

Job Description:

Provide direct support to students with special educational needs, working closely with class teachers and other educational professionals
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting personalized learning strategies
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Support students with personal care needs, mobility, and daily living skills
Participate in lesson preparation and classroom management
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
Contribute to the development of teaching resources and learning materials
Maintain accurate and confidential student records
Support students' social and emotional well-beingEssential Requirements:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Experience working with children with special educational needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive, nurturing approach
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Good physical fitness and stamina
Enhanced DBS check (we will support the application process)
