Are you a Quantity Surveyor with a passion for large-scale infrastructure projects? We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team, specializing in communications, mechanical, and electrical systems for major infrastructure developments. Based in London, this role will offer you the chance to work on some of the UK's most high-profile projects, including railway expansions HS2 and developments at Heathrow Airport.

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost control, contract administration, and value management for complex mechanical, electrical, and communications installations. Working closely with project teams, you will ensure financial accountability and drive cost efficiencies on large infrastructure projects, from rail networks to airport developments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Cost planning, forecasting, and budgeting for specialist MEP and communications systems.

* Providing detailed cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project performance.

* Managing contracts and overseeing procurement processes.

* Conducting site visits and progress evaluations to support accurate financial reporting.

* Liaising with project stakeholders, including contractors and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals.

Requirements:

* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

* Significant experience working on large infrastructure projects, particularly in rail or airport environments.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and communications systems.

* Excellent contract management skills and familiarity with relevant contract forms (e.g., NEC).

* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
