The Business
The business has been established over 50 years and has recently moved to the Scunthorpe area, they are looking for a technical sales executive who can have an immediate impact showcasing their drive and determination by growing and developing themselves parallel with the business.

The role

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and penetrate the market effectively
Promote UK products and solutions to contractors, architects, engineers and other relevant stakeholders within the construction industry
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to their challenges
Conduct thorough market research to identify target clients, market trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product positioning
Manage sales pipeline, including lead generation, qualification and conversion as well as utilising the CRM tools effectively
Develop a deep understanding of UK products, their applications and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions to customers
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvementSkills and Experience

Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
