URGENTLY REQUIRED CLASS 2 DRIVER with HIAB *****

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled LGV2 (C) Moffett / HIAB driver to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a flatbed lorry equipped with a Moffett truck-mounted forklift. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless operations between the warehouse and delivery sites.

Duties

* Operate an LGV2 (C) lorry with Moffett and HIAB equipment for deliveries.

* Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.

* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.

* Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.

* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.

* Provide assistance in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including stock management and organisation.

Requirements

* Valid LGV2 (C) driving licence with experience in commercial driving.

* Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.

* Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.

* Experience in operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous.

* A proactive approach to safety and adherence to regulations.

* Flexibility to work varied hours as needed by the business.
