An opportunity for a Category Buyer for Electronic Parts to join a UK manufacturing business as they continue to grow.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing long-term category strategies which will ensure the optimum supply base for the business including strong supplier relationships and best value.

Skills and Experience:

Proven depth of experience in sourcing electronic components and strong supplier market knowledge
Minimum 5 years procurement category management experience
It is essential that you have experience of procurement within the manufacturing industry and have worked with engineering drawings
Contract management experience
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong capability in Microsoft office software, specifically EXCEL
Ideally Degree/CIPS qualifiedProcessing Your Data
