Formal Engineering qualification - OND Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Time served indentured apprenticeship
Minimum work base Level 3 (NVQ or equivalent).
Formal qualification in Health and Safety
Awareness of engineering best practices and improvement processes.
5 Years plus experience in the FMCG industry in a similar role.
A good knowledge of Industrial Steam Boilers, associated water testing and safety checks
Knowledge of Effluent Treatment plants
Advanced skills in PLC, HMI Scada controlled systems
Strong electrical fault finding
Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels in order to achieve improvement targets.
Skilled analytical thinker with the ability to critically assess requirements and select "best fit" approach to meeting improvement objectives
