MMP Consultancy is seeking a Building Control Inspector on behalf of a Local Authority based in West Sussex. The candidate will be required to carry out site inspections, write inspection reports and issue completion certificates to buildings within the remit of the Local Authority. This is a 3-month contract initially subject to extension.

Candidates will need to be registered with the BSR from Class 2 to 4 to be considered. The rate of pay offered will depend on previous experience and their classification on the BSR. All candidates on the register will be considered, however extensive Building Control experience is essential.

The successful Building Control Inspector can expect to work up to 37 hours per week across East Sussex. In order to access locations within the county, candidates will need access to their own vehicle and a clean driving licence.
