Are you an experienced Deputy Home Manager in residential care with a passion for providing exceptional support to residents and leading a dedicated team? Our client is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your leadership skills and knowledge of health and social care to a supportive and well-established home.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification (or above) in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager in a residential care setting.
  • Leadership Skills: A proven ability to lead and inspire a team while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of compliance with CQC standards and care home regulations.
  • Organisational Abilities: Experience in rota management, audits, and driving quality improvements.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and a resident-focused approach to care.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Motivate and support your team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
  • Operational Oversight: Assist the Home Manager with the daily running of the home, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits, maintain compliance with CQC standards, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Resident Wellbeing: Ensure the highest standard of care is consistently delivered, supporting the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
  • Staff Development: Manage staff training, development, and appraisals, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Partnership Building: Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote trust and transparency.
