Job Title: M&E Project Manager

Package: £60,000 + Car Allowance
Location: Covering multiple sites in North East England with the main site requiring 3-5 days per week and 2 days at additional sites.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong mechanical bias and a solid understanding of electrical systems to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take full ownership of projects, overseeing them from design through to delivery.

In this role, you will manage projects independently, ensuring that each stage—planning, design, execution, and delivery—is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage multiple projects across various sites.

* Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery.

* Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.

* Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations throughout the project process.

* Provide technical guidance and problem-solving expertise, particularly with mechanical systems while supporting electrical aspects.

* Travel between sites as required (main site focus 3-5 days, other site visits 2 days per week).

Requirements

* Proven experience in project management, particularly in a building maintenance or similar environment.

* Strong mechanical engineering background, with additional experience or understanding of electrical systems. (Ideally Mechanically Biased - with Electrical Experience, electrically biased with strong mechanical experience is also desirable)

* Comprehensive knowledge of the full project management process, from concept and design to implementation and completion.

* Ability to work independently without a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Full UK driving license (for travel between sites).
