At ClearAccept we are seeking a Sales Executive who will be responsible for migrating merchants to our new payments gateway. We need an experienced, hands-on commercial candidate who has a clear track record in merchant services and specific evidence of successful channel/partner strategies. You need to be an independent, high-achieving individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.

Required skills and experience

  • Good commercial experience in partner or channel driven activities, including commercial experience in an ISO, Payment Gateway or Card Acquirer 

  • Proven evidence and positive track record of success with B2B sales, in Payments 

  • Experience working in a small or startup environment  

  • Experience of Payment Facilitator (master merchant) model highly advantageous 

  • Good understanding of merchant services, payment gateways, acquiring 

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and sell payments solutions to the most promising merchants across the portfolio to convert payments volume 

  • Manage the sales cycle with guidance including contract management and working directly with risk and compliance teams  

  • Ability to put together effective pricing for larger merchants that is competitive but also retains strong margin residuals 

  • Suggest and contribute to improvements to the sales cycle process, to positively impact sales and merchant experience 

  • Maintain sales pipeline tracking and reporting 

  • Act as a resource for sales colleagues with less experience
