Our client, a UK based multi-utility infrastructure provider, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in either their Burntwood or Bolton offices. The Quantity Surveyor will play a vital role in managing all commercial aspects of their region building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce weekly and monthly cost/value reconciliations
• Bridge the gap between operations and clients, managing variations and scope changes
• Liaise with design, operations & others to monitor and manage commercial performance
• Attend monthly operational meetings to review performance & address underperformance
• Prepare client valuations and manage client relationships/disputes
• Oversee client debt management, fostering strong client relationships
• Prepare final accounts for both clients and subcontractor

Key skills and experience required:

• Experience in a commercial/financial role within the utility sector ? essential 
• Direct experience working with clients and managing relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to manage and produce cost/value reconciliations
• Strong skills in building both internal and external relationships
• Knowledge of commercial contract terms and conditions
• Experience handling client variations and negotiating scope changes
• Confident in leading and managing meetings
• Proficient in Excel and document management systems
