We are looking to recruit an IT Support Technician with an excellent technical aptitude to join our innovative IT Support Team. Reporting directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will provide technical support to our on-site and remote employees.
About You Our ideal candidate will be confident with setting up and maintaining technical systems, interested in new technologies, able to provide support to remote users and confident to support with a range of IT and communication requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities Your day-to-day tasks as an IT Support Technician will include:
- Providing IT technical support for our Crewe and Winsford sites and our remote workers, driving license essential.
- Maintaining internal IT in conjunction with other IT engineers, including desktops and peripherals, servers, network, firewalls, internet connections and communication channels such as voice and email.
- Setting up IT access and resources for new starters.
- Providing technical support to clients via ticketing system, email, etc. and escalating technical issues to senior members of the team when necessary.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring that it is running efficiently.
- Assisting with the management of backups and disaster recovery systems.

Essential Skills Skills Required:
- Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and software, including Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Able to install and configure software and hardware, including servers, workstations, and printers.
- Able to maintain and update computer systems and networks.
- Transport and a driving licence is required for this role.
