This leading Agency is looking for a WordPress Developer to join their expanding team.
They’re looking for someone who can take projects from concept to completion with confidence and technical expertise.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch
- Create and implement content models using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
- Build scalable, secure, and optimised WordPress solutions
- Develop custom WooCommerce functionalities for e-commerce projects
- Implement responsive front-end solutions using modern development practices
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
- Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
Technical Requirements:
WordPress Expertise
- Advanced custom theme development from scratch
- Plugin development and modification
- Deep understanding of WordPress core functionality
- Experience with WooCommerce customisation
- Proficiency in ACF for content modelling
- WordPress debugging and performance optimization
- Security best practices implementation
Design/Development Skills
- Strong PHP knowledge and object-oriented programming
- Proficient using Figma
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (particularly Bootstrap)
- Version control with Git
- Command line and build tool proficiency
- Understanding of AWS and server architecture
- Database optimisation and management
- API integration experience
Additional Technical Skills
- Experience with modern development workflows and CI/CD
- Understanding of SEO best practices
- Knowledge of web performance optimization
- Familiarity with web server configuration
- Experience with development and staging environments
