Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Assistant Accountant to work on a office based / permanent basis in Harrogate. 

You will become part of a small, friendly, close-knit team, working very closely with the Financial Director, where you will hold responsibility for assisting with monthly management accounts, overseeing ledgers, producing payroll as well as supervising the accounts assistant. This includes assisting to prepare, input and review monthly management accounts including prepayments/ accruals, forecasting, P & L, budgeting and overseeing transactional finance.  

Automotive sector background & AAT Qualification would be highly beneficial.

Duties Include;

• Assisting to prepare, input and review monthly management accounts journals
• Assist with management of sales, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets & depreciation
• Calculating and producing monthly payroll 
• Month end reporting & analysis
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts, reconciliations of bank transactions, P&L and balance sheet reviews

Key Skills & Experience required:

• SME Accounting experience 
• AAT Qualified would be highly beneficial 
• Automotive experience beneficial, not essential 

This is a permanent, fully office based role, with salary up to £38k depending on experience.
