Is the role right for me?
A great Team Member at SGCC will demonstrate the following attributes;
- Experience of operating a Reach forklift truck is required and Counterbalance experience would be beneficial.
- Experience in warehousing is required and manufacturing/ production would be beneficial
- Understanding of the importance of safety, and actively contribute to the site's product or service outputs to the highest quality possible.
- A desire to learn and develop on the job.
What will I be doing in the role?
As we open and develop a new site we will begin with warehousing operations and develop into manufacturing and production.
Our initial warehousing and distribution activities will include:
- Accepting deliveries of product and storing correctly in the racking.
- Loading and unloading containers and curtain sided lorries.
- Picking and packing against delivery notes.
- Palletising, wrapping and banding for outbound deliveries.
Future training will be given in all aspects of the production plant, offering you the opportunity to develop.
What are the working hours and shift patterns for this role?
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, on-site - Day time only
