This role covers our delivery operations in the vibrant Erith operating region, including Erith, Walthamstow, Merton, Wimbledon, Crawley, and Weybridge.

About the Role:

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will:
  • Inspire and lead your regional team, driving business results.
  • Set and achieve regional and stream strategies through proactive management.
  • Develop and integrate new managers, fostering a high-performing team.
  • Ensure operational excellence through coaching, training, and development.
  • Act as a role model in culture, people management, and professional behaviour.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resources.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external customers, exceeding service expectations.
  • Implement new locations and ensure compliance with company and legal guidelines.
  • Monitor and enhance health and safety practices.
About You:

To be successful in this position, you should have:
  • Strong customer service skills and people management experience.
  • Knowledge of ER policies, team building, fleet management, and budgeting.
  • Background in distribution, fleet, or logistics management.
  • Current UK Driving License (minimum three years) with 3 points or less.
  • CPC international qualification and experience with an Operator's license.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Ocado systems.
