As Works Manager, you'll bring strong leadership skills to unite and guide cross-functional teams, optimise plant operations, and drive overall efficiency. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll have around 12 direct reports and will be encouraged to implement strategic improvements and grow within the company.

Your understanding of welding, hydraulics, mechanical assembly, and process optimisation will be invaluable in addressing challenges and enhancing workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and report operational performance directly to the Managing Director.

* Identify and implement improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reduce costs, focusing on product design and component selection.

* Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.

* Conduct performance appraisals, manage employee development and training, and enforce site-wide safety protocols.

* Strengthen interdepartmental relationships to foster a collaborative work environment.

Required Skills:

* Proven leadership with the ability to engage and inspire cross-functional teams.

* Extensive technical knowledge in fabrication, welding, boring, milling, hydraulic mechanical assembly, and electronic control systems.
