About the Role:
Are you a qualified Primary School Teacher with QTS looking for a new and exciting opportunity?
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in New Addington, Croydon, for a fixed-term contract starting in April 2025.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons to a Year 6 class, preparing students for their transition to secondary school, and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development. The role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young learners within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for Year 6 students, in line with the National Curriculum
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and setting targets
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure students are supported both academically and emotionally
Prepare students for SATs and help them with their transition to secondary school
Key Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK Primary School teaching experience
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum, especially for Key Stage 2
Strong communication and organisational skills
A passion for teaching and helping children achieve their full potential
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
