Our client is seeking a Nutrition Manager to join their team, located in Zambia.
Support and enhance the company's growth, by fostering and developing relationships with customers, suppliers, and other partners.
Develop nutrition solutions. Identify problems and implement long-term solutions. Identify and drive actions for continuous improvement to both the feeds produced and customer on farm management.
Ensure a strong understanding of the clients' products, their competition in the industry and positioning.
Understand the target markets, developing strategies to attract clients.
Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to successful sales and support of customers.
Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to the senior management.
Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on competitors.
Think strategically by seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
Work strategically by carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes.
Report on and support reasons for spending monthly.
Support the development and review of formulations for current and future products.
Support the evolution and improvement of the current and future product portfolio.
Work with the Sales and Marketing team on creating the best product offer for our client's customers.
Work with the Technical Team to give optimal customer support and grow the customer base, both within Zambia and in other African countries.
Formulate in-house feeds.
Formulate for key customers.
Support the SMT with technical issues.
Do routine visits to key customers.
Visit prospective customers.
Support Technical Team with problem cases at customers.
Provide support to identify cost saving opportunities with raw materials, feeds and equipment.
Support the implementation and evaluation of opportunities for purchasing new raw materials.
Support the SLT in providing clear advice and guidance to the business.
