Company Overview:

Our client is a leading regional civil engineering contractor specialising in infrastructure, foundations, reinforced concrete, demolition, and groundwork's. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team and oversee multiple projects across the region (South Wales / South West).

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

*

Leading project teams and ensuring effective coordination between site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

*

Managing all aspects of infrastructure, foundations, reinforced concrete, demolition, and groundwork's projects.

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

*

Preparing and managing contract documentation, risk assessments, and method statements.

*

Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progression.

*

Monitoring project performance, cost control, and quality assurance.

*

Identifying and resolving any project-related challenges efficiently.

*

Supporting business development and tendering processes for new contracts.

Key Requirements (Skills & Experience):

*

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the civil engineering sector.

*

Strong background in infrastructure, foundations, reinforced concrete, demolition, and groundwork's.

*

Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage multiple project teams.

*

Sound knowledge of health & safety regulations and construction legislation.

*

Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and programme schedules effectively.

*

Proficiency in contract management, risk assessment, and project planning.

*

A relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
