About the Business:

Altum are proud to be working on behalf of this global business which is in Pursuit of Better. This company delivers exceptional customer experiences to the portfolio companies of a large umbrella business. The headquarters are based across Europe, Asia, and America, and this role is based in the London office servicing the European portfolio companies.

What you'll be doing:

• Central oversight on all insurance matters including renewals and new transactions
• Strategy and placement guidance across all lines of insurance
• Manage a team of six risk managers and ensure they are supported to meet their annual team and personal objectives
• Lead communication to senior stakeholders including C-Suite Executives at Portfolio Companies
• Captive management oversight
• Lead new initiatives including new master placements to address identified risk gaps
• Be responsible for risk financing and alternative risk transfer methods on an ad-hoc basis for portfolio companies
• Oversee lender financing - Broker Letter of Undertaking
• Manage third party/vendor and tenant lease contracts review
• Acquisition and Disposition Team Oversight
• Claims management and analysis
• Creating collaboration across portfolio companies (e.g., benchmarking, data, claim trends) to drive best practice and increase levels of expertise

What do you bring to the role?

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, insurance and/or risk management
• 12+ years' experience in an insurance risk management department, brokerage firm, or insurance company
• In depth knowledge and insurance expertise on Property, Liability, Construction Works, and Financial Lines
• Ability to analyse financial information
• Ability to create concise reporting for senior management
• CII Level 4 certification, CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM or higher
• Knowledge and experience using Risk Management Information Systems such as Origami
