This critical position is ideal for a qualified accountant looking to leverage their expertise in financial systems to drive efficiencies and improve processes within a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the integration, enhancement, and management of the company's financial systems, ensuring streamlined, efficient, and accurate data flows.

* Take responsibility for the preparation and consolidation of accounts, ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.

* Provide hands-on support for month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimise financial software solutions that meet the organisation's needs.

* Develop financial models, templates, and reports to support business objectives and decision-making.

* Deliver ongoing training and support to finance and non-finance users on system functionality and best practices.

* Prepare and provide ad hoc financial and management reports as needed.

* Support audit processes, acting as a key contact for external auditors.

Essential Requirements

* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

* Demonstrable experience as a Systems Accountant or in a similar role within a large, complex organisation.

* Proficient understanding of consolidated accounts.

* Strong proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

* Advanced Excel skills with an aptitude for financial modeling and data analysis.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams.
