**Position:** SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support
**Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Full-Time, Term-Time Only)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Oldbury. In this role, you will be working as a vital 1:1 support team member, providing specialized assistance to a pupil with autism.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver 1:1 support tailored to the needs of the pupil, helping them engage in daily activities and progress academically and socially.
- Implement and follow individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies that support the student's development.
- Build a strong, positive rapport with the pupil, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff members to adapt activities and resources as needed.

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience working with pupils with autism, ideally within a primary school setting.
- Ability to remain patient, understanding, and adaptive to meet the unique needs of the pupil.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
