Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: £55,000 - £57,000 + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Continental shift pattern, 6am - 6pm / 6am - 6pm

Are you an experienced professional in building services and maintenance? We are seeking a skilled Maintenance HVAP Shift Leader to supervise a team ensuring critical building systems operate efficiently 24/7. Working in a critical Data Centre environment on a brand new long-term M&E maintenance contract.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise day-to-day shift operations, covering PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive tasks.

* Maintain environmental conditions, using the BMS system to monitor and adjust Air Conditioning, UPS, Generators, and LV systems.

* Manage sub-contractors, including work approvals, safety protocols, and performance monitoring.

* Ensure timely maintenance and repairs on plant systems, identifying areas for improvement.

* Oversee health & safety compliance, ensuring a clean and secure working environment.

* Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements for all tasks.

* Maintain accurate and timely records using Computer-Based Maintenance systems (e.g., Maximo).

* Ensure plant rooms are kept tidy and secure, with necessary spares readily available.

* Provide dynamic risk assessments and comprehensive shift reports, escalating non-compliance when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

* Qualifications: Electro-Mechanical training (City & Guilds/NVQ), 17th Edition BS7671.

* Experience: Experience working as a High-Voltage Approved Person is essential.

* Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, effective communicator, and ability to work under pressure.

* Desirable: HVAC knowledge, HV Authorised Person certification.
