**HOT JOB OF THE WEEK** Are you a strong Administrator who has a good work ethic and a can do attitude. Due to progression my client has a vacancy for a Office Assistant based in Burton on Trent. This role is very varied so requires a candidate that is flexible and adaptable and has a good knowledge of Excel.Working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with a hour lunch each day. Excellent salary of between £22 - £24,000 depending on experience.
Key Duties Office Administration
- Provide general support and administration to the busy sales office, answering phone, dealing with customer queries and orders, and general administration.
- Provide ad-hoc reports to the sales team and others based on information extracted from the NAV system.
Purchasing - Enter forecast demand information received from customers into NAV system.
- Ensure accuracy of supplier order information – lead times ETAs etc.
- Maintain inventory information – MOQ’s, lead times, order multiples.
- Place orders on supplier based on agreed purchase requirements.
- Liaise with Far East office on the processing and tracking of orders.
Supplier Management - Work with the Office Manager to maintain accurate information on suppliers, including costing spreadsheets and price comparisons.
Experience - Previous administration experience.
- Strong excel skills.
- Previous ERP system experience
