c£25,000 (negotiable) commensurate with experience

We are working with a well-established multi-office law firm who are looking to attract an experienced Childcare Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary with Legal Aid experience, to support their Childcare team, based just outside Banbury. 

The role will involve:

Supporting the Childcare team with secretarial and administrative duties
Preparing and summarising legal documents including court statements
Liaising with clients
Audio typing from digital dictation
Taking detailed notes of meetings
Electronic diary management, arranging meetings
Submitting legal aid applications 
Use of the Legal Aid portal
Working as part of a teamSuitable candidates will have:

A minimum of 2 years' legal secretarial experience in childcare/public law
Experience of legal aid work
Excellent communication skills
Experience of audio typing via digital dictation
Experience of using the legal aid portal
Experience of childcare proceedings, working with and supporting parents/guardiansBenefits Include:
