Trinity House Group are working exclusively with a large, listed business in the Midlands to recruit a Head of Reporting – CapEx Projects. This is a newly created role that will report directly to the CFO and business partner Senior Stakeholders across multiple locations to ensure all aspects of capital expenditure reporting, analysis, and compliance within the organisation are met.  This role ensures accurate financial reporting of capital purchases, provides insight into capital spend, and works closely with various departments to align the organisation’s CapEx processes with its strategic objectives.  You will lead CapEx reporting, ensuring financial data integrity and compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.  You will be given full autonomy to put your own stamp on this newly created role but will also receive support and guidance when required.   Key focus areas:

Key requirements:

• Fully qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
• Strong financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis, with a strong focus on CapEx
• Previous experience in capital expenditure management, reporting, and analysis
• within a large, complex organisation
• Proficient in financial reporting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles
• Experience with financial modelling and data analysis tools
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset
