Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Preston

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established Regional Contractor who have been operating for over 60 years and due to their continued success and growth they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

The role - Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be a key part of the team and will be working closely with the Senior QS & Commercial Manager to deliver both new build and refurbishment contracts across Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

They work on a variety on projects in the healthcare and education sectors with projects ranging in value from £1m - £15m and you will be responsible for the following duties (Including but not limited to):

Cost reporting.
Preparation and valuation of progress and submission to client.
Sub-contract procurement including sending out enquiries, collating prices, negotiation, order placement.
Sub-contract valuations and payments in connection with any contract.
Preparation of internal cost reporting measures.
Maintaining quality control procedures.
Preparation of bills and/or schedules for quantities of materials.
Requirements as a Quantity Surveyor?

Have a degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying
Main Contracting experience is preferable
At least 2 years post graduate experience
