Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)

Their Bristol office is at the heart of some of the citys most exciting projects, and they are looking for a passionate Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems for a range of building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations using the latest software and technology.
* Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Conduct site visits to assess and supervise the installation of electrical systems, ensuring quality and adherence to design specifications.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
* Participate in project meetings, presenting design concepts and progress reports to clients and project managers.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance our design processes.

* The award-winning Bristol Beacon Transformation, a major refurbishment project aimed at creating a world-class concert venue.
* The innovative Harbourside Apartments, an eco-friendly residential development that sets new standards in sustainable living.
* The cutting-edge Bristol Science Park, where were engineering state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities.
* The iconic Temple Quarter Regeneration, revitalising one of the city's key commercial hubs with modern, energy-efficient building solutions.

Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Professional accreditation or working towards Chartered Engineer status with a recognised institution (e.g., IET).
* Proven experience in electrical design within the building services industry.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools.
* Strong knowledge of electrical standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to clients and colleagues.
