Edward Mann are currently partnered with a global Media business in London in the recruitment of an Interim Indirect Tax Accountant for the next 3 months via Fixed Term Contract. This is a hybrid opportunity with 2/3 days per week required in office.

Daily responsibilities

- Full responsibility for the completion and submission of VAT returns using internally approved workflows via Alteryx

- Assess, develop and improve processes aligned with digital reporting requirements

- Produce exception reports through Alteryx and follow up with various finance teams to resolve errors prior to filing of VAT returns

- Work closely with all departments in ensuring compliance in VAT

- Continuously assess and document risk and communication to senior leadership

-Regularly update on HMRC compliance requirements and provide any internal support where required on VAT queries to staff across the business

Experience required

- Candidates must be a qualified Accountant e.g. ACA, ACCA, CTAetc.

- Strong ERP skills, notably SAP

- Experience using Alteryx is highly advantageous

- Ability to research complex taxation issues/ experience in doing so
