Forklift Driver VNA

We are hiring confident VNA drivers across 4 different shifts to join our third-party logistics client based in Duckmanton, Chesterfield on a temp to perm basis!

Pay Rate: £12.20 - £13.95 (dependant on shift)

Shifts: Multiple set shift options available - Days 4on4off 06:00-18:00, Nights 4on4off 18:00-06:00, Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 rotating weekly, Nights Monday to Friday 22:00-06:00

The Role:

This will be to join a multi-skilled team, operating around 45 other team members. Duties will consist of operating MHE and carrying our various warehouse duties as and when required.

Duties:

* Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.

* Picking and building onto pallets

* Loading customer pallets onto trailers using MHE

* Ensure the correct amount of product is picked

* Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times

* Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse

* Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers

· Occasional duties of marshalling, managing goods-in, and pallet checking, as requested by the site management team

· Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the warehouse Team Leader and Manager.

* Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures for the reporting of damages

* Ensure compliance while checking / operating MHE equipment

* Expected to operate all MHE required to deliver operational requirements both current and future

Candidate Requirements:

* Able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.

* Must possess a reasonable level of verbal & numerical reasoning

* Attention to detail and accuracy

Reliability and a good working attitude

* Ability to work within a team, with the willingness to contribute towards continuous improvement initiative

* Minimum of 6 months VNA operating experience

* Valid VNA license (ideally accredited but we can accept in house providing candidates are happy to complete on site refresher)
