Lead Maintenance Engineer
Location: UttoxeterSalary: £42,000Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 15:30
An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Uttoxeter. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer who can balance hands-on maintenance work with project management and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduling
- Monitor and improve KPIs to drive performance
- Lead engineering projects and process improvements
- Hands-on maintenance, covering both electrical and mechanical aspects
- Support and mentor a small team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
What You'll Need: - Multi-skilled background in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Experience with PPM systems, KPI monitoring, and project management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is advantageous
