Day to day of the role:

• Plan and deliver inspiring Geography lessons to secondary or post-16 students, fostering an appreciation for the subject and its real-world applications.

• Create an engaging classroom environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and encourages student participation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share creative teaching practices and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programmes.
• Engage in continuous professional development to maintain the highest educational standards and practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Experience in teaching Geography is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.
• Proven ability to inspire and challenge students through effective teaching methods.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
