An award winning geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based near Leeds are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a range of exciting ground investigation projects. You'll be provided with excellent training from a team of specialist engineers and consultants, a variety o projects to work on and opportunity to apply your knowledge and develop your career.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be assisting with site walkovers, carrying out ground investigations and desktop studies, taking soil samples, bore-hole logging, preparing phase plans, writing factual and interpretive reports, working on in situ testing and observing day-to-day tasks to develop knowledge.
The Geotechnical Engineer position offers:

Geotechnical Engineers considered for the role will have:
- A good foundation of knowledge and experience in the ground investigation industry.
- A minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, geoscience or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental and geotechnical skills and progress within the company.
- Be willing to work outdoors on hands on projects.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be commutable to Leeds and the surrounding area.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
