Position Overview:

The role involves ensuring that all communication materials are consistent with the company’s branding and messaging strategies. It is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is creative and has strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
    • Assist in creating, editing, and proofreading content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and other marketing materials
    • Collaborate with team members to develop content for digital platforms (social media, website, email campaigns)
    • Create and maintain content calendars for various communication channels
  1. Social Media Management:
    • Support the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content
    • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers by responding to comments and messages
    • Track and analyze social media performance metrics and provide insights
  1. Media Relations:
    • Assist in drafting press releases and media advisories
    • Help build and maintain relationships with media contacts by updating media lists and coordinating outreach
  1. Internal Communications:
    • Support internal communication initiatives by drafting internal newsletters, emails, and memos
    • Assist in organizing and promoting internal events, meetings, and activities
  1. Research and Reporting:
    • Conduct research on communication trends, competitor activities, and media outlets
    • Gather data and prepare reports on the effectiveness of communication campaigns

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
    • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)
    • Knowledge of design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (preferred but not required).
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
