A fast-growing Construction business with offices on the North Kent/SE London border is looking to hire a Finance Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.  This role offers hybrid working 3 days per week in the office.  Reporting to the Finance Director and working in a fast-paced yet supportive finance team, the Finance Assistant will:

Duties of the Finance Assistant Role:

• Input Monthly Bank Transactions to the general ledger 
• Complete bank and other ledgers reconciliations
• Dealing with on-line BACS & cash payments
• Journals input
• Prepare monthly margins report 
• Assist with updating the P&L reports and indices on Excel 
• Assist with ledger and nominal reconciliation

Requirements of the Finance Assistant Role:

• AAT Qualified or studier or qualified by experience 
• Excellent double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
• Good MS Excel skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
