BUSINESS UNIT: Property & Estate Management

POST TITLE: Senior Estates & Valuation Surveyor

LOCATION: Warrington (Hybrid)

SALARY: £35 to £50 per hour

CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Estates & Valuation

REPORTS TO: Head of Estates & Valuation

PURPOSE & SCOPE OF POST

The post is located within the Property & Estate Management Service. The primary functions of this role are to provide estates and valuation input to the property team at a senior, technical level with a focus on:

Asset Management
High-level valuation work for acquisition, disposal, property management, and accounting
Client liaison and general practice advice
Representing the Estates & Valuation team at meetings

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the development of the Asset Management Plan to ensure the effective and efficient management of the property portfolio.
Support and assist the comprehensive review of land and property assets to meet strategic objectives and implement outcomes from the review.
Work with clients and services to understand their requirements and identify their service needs for accommodation and associated resources.
Collaborate with other services and partners to develop plans for improved property utilisation, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage projects from inception to delivery and contribute to the review of asset use by internal and external clients.
Provide professional valuation and property management services, including land and property acquisition and disposal, statutory valuations, CPO, and portfolio management.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders as required.
Act as a representative on various groups as required.
Work with relevant internal and external agencies, participating in joint working and partnership arrangements.
Attend meetings outside normal office hours when necessary.
Undertake additional tasks as required, commensurate with the level of the role.

REQUIREMENTS

A Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this role.
This is a hybrid role, allowing for a combination of remote and office-based working in Warrington.
