We are working with a rapidly expanding Multi-Disciplinary Design & Surveying Consultancy that operates nationwide across the UK.

This firm boasts a diverse portfolio of projects within the construction industry, focusing on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions and exceptional client service from initial design through to project completion.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical CAD & Revit Technician to join this dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing high-quality electrical drawings and models, contributing to the development of various large-scale projects across the UK.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Produce detailed electrical designs, schematics, and models using AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring high-quality output that meets client and project specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, architectural, and civil engineers, to coordinate designs, resolve conflicts, and ensure cohesive project delivery.
Support the design and development of electrical, fire, security, and renewable energy systems, adapting designs to meet the functional and architectural requirements of each project.
Conduct regular reviews and quality checks of drawings and models to identify and rectify design errors or contradictions.
Maintain and organize project documentation, including document registers and technical submittals, to support project progression and decision-making.
Learn & stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, participating in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in the preparation of written and templated specifications aligned with client and project requirements.
Engage in ongoing training to enhance Revit skills and exposure to industry-specific plugins.

Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience working on large domestic, commercial, and industrial building projects, ideally £1M+.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit ideally for electrical design or similar, with the ability to produce high-quality schematics, layouts, and details.
A solid understanding of building services, including a basic knowledge of mechanical, architectural, civil, and public health disciplines.
Ability to translate conceptual designs into practical solutions that align with both architectural and functional project requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a natural design flair and the confidence to think creatively, providing clients with innovative and effective solutions.
An understanding of the overall design and delivery process, recognising the need for integrated information delivery and adherence to project timelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
HND/HNC/ Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Architectural Design Engineering or related field.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel occasionally as required.
