We are searching for an exceptional Head Chef to take charge of our flagship site, which is under new management. This is a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen, generating over £20,000 in weekly food sales, with a hugely popular carvery service.
With a competitive £40,000 salary, performance-based bonus, and a spacious 3-bedroom flat included, this is an incredible opportunity for an outstanding leader to take the reins and drive real change.
The Role:
- Lead and develop a large brigade of 10+ chefs, instilling structure, discipline, and high standards.
- Work closely with senior management to drive improvements, increase efficiency, and elevate the food offering.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including stock control, compliance, and cost management.
- Maintain exceptional food quality and hygiene standards, ensuring consistency even in a high-pressure environment.
- Shape the kitchen culture, inspiring and motivating the team to meet and exceed expectations.
About You:
- Must have previous experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume setting—this is not a first-time Head Chef role.
- A natural leader with the confidence and skill to take control of a large team.
- Strong business acumen, with an ability to manage costs, boost efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the venue.
- Hands-on approach—not just a manager, but a chef who leads from the front.
- Passion for delivering consistently high-quality food, with particular expertise in carvery service.
- Exceptional organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
