Maintenance Manager (Wastewater & Treatment Works) - Dublin

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our Client. The position is a full time, temporary role which would be ideally suited to a driven, ambitious and enthusiastic Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will report to the management. The successful candidate will joint their Team in Dublin.
Your responsibilities will be as below:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of 12 personnel, including operations and maintenance staff.
- Regular monthly reporting to the Plant Manager (PM) and immediate reporting during emergencies.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 Quality System and the plant's Standard and Maintenance Operating Procedures (SOPs & MSOPs).
- Overseeing plant shutdowns, supervising external subcontractors, and managing the maintenance team to ensure the continuous and fail-safe operation of the plant.
- Optimal use of asset maintenance management software.
- Overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Managing the plant's health and safety system, including the potential implementation of ISO 45001 accreditation.
- Monthly reporting of all health and safety-related matters.
- Controlling operational costs and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Managing the Odour Control System and related monitoring instruments.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years in a responsible management role within water/wastewater treatment or a related industry.
- Experience with the maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, especially pumps, gas generators, aerators, and SCADA/PLC systems.
- Trade background in mechanical or electrical fields or a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Proven ability in staff management and human resources.
- Readiness to respond to plant failures outside of regular working hours and assist in remote troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to motivate and manage the team.
