Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Administrator to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Active Directory (AD) data as part of our compliance initiatives, specifically related to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements. The primary responsibility will involve reviewing the output from SOX scripts, identifying data gaps, and taking corrective actions in AD Manager. Success will be measured by achieving a state where SOX script outputs indicate no data discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SOX Script Review: Regularly execute and review the output of SOX compliance scripts, assessing for any discrepancies or gaps in Active Directory data.
  • Gap Identification: Analyse the SOX script results to pinpoint inconsistencies, missing data, or other issues that violate compliance guidelines.
  • Data Correction in AD Manager: Address identified data gaps within AD Manager by making necessary updates, corrections, and optimisations to ensure accurate user and access data.
  • Audit and Documentation: Maintain clear records of issues identified, actions taken, and progress toward compliance. Provide regular reports on the state of SOX-related data gaps.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor AD compliance continuously to prevent future data gaps, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure data integrity and adherence to SOX compliance requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements for automating and optimizing SOX script outputs and Active Directory data maintenance.

Success Criteria:

  • All SOX script outputs show no data gaps or compliance issues within defined timelines.
  • Timely and accurate resolution of identified discrepancies.
  • Continuous alignment with SOX compliance and security protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Active Directory management and administration.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance frameworks and requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting scripts or audit logs.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with IT and compliance teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AD Manager tools and SOX script automation.
  • Knowledge of security and audit standards related to data administration and user access controls.
