My client who is in the Oil and Gas industry are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

The role will be based in Malton, North Yorkshire but there might be some occasional travel to clients' offices in the UK or worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake all aspects of product design and development.

• Preparation of project engineering documents schedules and forecasts.

• Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.

• Regular project status reports and change orders.

• Regular contact with project clients.

• Budget monitoring.

• Contributing to the development of the RMSpumptools Brand.

• Provide support to other departments as and when required.

• Adhere to ISO 9001 drawing office practises.

• Participation in the preparation of project quotations and technical proposals.

Skills & Experience:

• Engineering experience in a similar environment

• 3D CAD Modelling experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar software

• Mechanical Engineering degree and/ or HND/HNC with relevant experience

• Experience in using the MS Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

• Fibre Optic knowledge and experience (Desirable)

• Knowledge of basic electrical principles (Desirable)

• Strong communication skills

• Self-motivated and proactive attitude, willing to learn and excel skills
