This role is for a Project Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the Oxfordshire region. As the Site Project Engineer you will be instrumental in supporting & implementing group wide strategy working with the Project Manager.

Description

Provide engineering support activities for plant which includes major capital projects, equipment upgrades, facility expansion/upgrades, sustainability projects, major equipment, and system purchases as well as installations.
Support the project implementation from the project design and delivery perspective
Support with determining project schedule and specifications, technology, and standards, preparing cost and time estimates and reports.
Control project costs by approving expenditures, contractor, assigned capital to ensure spending is within budgets.
Facilitate innovative continuous improvement projects by seeking to improve & enhance methods and process systems.
Responsible for safety and the adherence to policies and regulations to ensure that all engineering tasks are performed in a safe manner.Profile

A Project Engineer with demonstrable engineering experience within an FMCG manufacturing environment & the following:

A recognised Engineering qualification
Proven experience in a project role
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
