Location: Commutable to Leeds Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000neg

The role of the Designer - Timber Structures will involve:

• Designer position dealing with a range of roof truss and joist projects for main contractors and house builders
• Ensure that all designs meet the client requirements so that offsite manufacturing can take place
• Liaise regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors providing excellent customer service
• Providing technical advice and recommendations based on client enquiries
• Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
• Working on projects varying in value up to circa £250,000

The ideal applicant will be a Designer - Timber Structures industry with:

• Must have timber frame, roof truss or joist design experience
• Must have Revit / AutoCAD experience
• Ideally will have experience using Finnjoist, Wolf System or Mi-Tek
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
