Meraki Talent are currently working with a leading high profile financial services business that are currently going through a period of transformation to help them identify an Internal Audit Manager – ActuarialAs an Internal Audit Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by challenging the effectiveness of the risk, governance and control environment.You will help provide influential insight through the work you deliver. You will manage your own portfolio of audits and ad-hoc projects over a variety of areas aligned to the group’s strategy and core customer purpose and execute each audit end to end to agreed timelines. You will also manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Be part of an audit team who are well respected, trusted and relied upon by the Board to bring an independent view of the business and help influence positive outcomes.
  • Build your network and develop relationships with Senior Leadership.
  • Learn to think strategically to assess how business units and functions are working together and contributing to the Group Strategy.
We are looking for:
  • Past audit experience is not required; however, this role leverages strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exam qualified actuary or qualified by experience currently working in a senior actuarial role in Lines 1, 2 or 3. 
  • Previous exposure to the Life Insurance sector or broader Financial Services prudential regulation.
  • Whilst not essential, exposure to model risk management, model change and actuarial transformation would be an advantage.
  • Good regulatory awareness, understanding the impact of regulations on your portfolio.
