Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated PE (Female) Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position at this Client, an inclusive and high-achieving secondary school in Waltham Forest. This exciting opportunity starts in April 2025 and will be for one year.

The Role:

Teaching PE (Female) to Key Stage 3 & Key Stage 4
Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that inspire a love for physical activity
Supporting and encouraging students of all abilities to achieve their best
Organising and overseeing extracurricular sports activities and fixtures
Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress
Contributing to the school's vibrant sports culture and ethos

The ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Have a relevant degree in Physical Education or a related subject
Possess experience teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Be passionate about PE and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle
Have excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
Be a team player with strong communication and organisational skills
