Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Erith, Full-Time Office Based
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Benefits

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a medium-sized, Tier 1/2 FRA Specialist Contractor based in Erith. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to work with a leading contractor in the fire risk assessment (FRA) sector, managing cost control and commercial aspects of high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and controlling project costs from start to completion
Preparing tender and contract documents
Monitoring progress, assessing project risks, and advising on contractual issues
Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency and project success
Ensuring projects remain within budget and maintaining comprehensive financial reports
Supporting project teams with valuations and variations
Final account negotiation and settlement

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction or FRA sector
Knowledge of fire risk assessments (FRA) and fire protection works is desirable
Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and financial control
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in relevant software packages
