Our client, a leading charitable institution for Special Educational Needs, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Business Manager to join their senior leadership team. This pivotal role involves managing strategic operations across compliance, finance, HR, health and safety, IT, and administration, driving the organization's mission to support young people with special educational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to Trustees

* Oversee compliance, human resources, health and safety, and facilities management

* Drive strategic planning and resource allocation aligned with the 5-year plan

* Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and implement fundraising strategies

* Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and data protection

* Supervise administrative staff and contribute to overall school leadership

* Implement marketing strategies and oversee IT systems management

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

* Relevant degree, preferably in accountancy, finance, or business management

* Proven experience in business management or similar senior financial role

* Strong financial acumen, including budget management and financial analysis

* Excellence in leadership, interpersonal skills, and staff development

* Proficiency in HR management, employment law, and recruitment processes

* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

* Proficiency in IT systems, data management, and GDPR compliance

Desirable Qualifications:

* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., CSBM, DSBM, or equivalent)

* Experience with fundraising and income generation in an educational setting

* Knowledge of facilities management and health & safety regulations

* Understanding of charity and company reporting requirements
