Our client is a leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality storage tanks and systems for various sectors, including agriculture, oil and gas, and chemical processing. THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our client's production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, particularly with mild steel and stainless steel, and will play a key role in fabricating and assembling storage tanks and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.

Ensure all welds are neat, clean, and meet the company's high-quality standards.

Operate welding equipment safely and maintain tools in good working condition.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately.

Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure all work complies with industry standards and customer specifications.

Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve production goals and maintain workflow.

Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor immediately.

THE EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting is essential.

Strong understanding of MIG welding techniques, particularly with mild and stainless steel.

Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and welding symbols.

A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a welding environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.

THE CONTRACT

This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the potential for a long-term position based on performance and company requirements.
