Business Development Executive

Location: Essex (Covering London and Surrounding Areas)

Salary: £50,000-£65,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Overview

Our client, a global distributor of tube, pipe, fittings, flanges, and valves, is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Executive to join their team. This external role involves being out on the road 3 to 4 days per week, targeting the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) market across London and the surrounding areas.

Job Role

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients within the EPC market.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth.
Act as a key contact for clients, providing expert knowledge on tube, pipe, fittings, flanges, and valves.
Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and quotes tailored to their needs.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure seamless delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategies.
Requirements

Previous experience within the metals industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of tube, pipe, fittings, flanges, and valves.
Proven track record in business development, preferably targeting the EPC market.
Self-motivated and results-driven with excellent organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Full UK driving license.
